Aberlour A'bunadh

Aberlour A’Bunadh is a Scotch whisky produced by Aberlour Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. A’Bunadh, which means “The Original” in Scots Gaelic, is a cask strength single malt whisky made using traditional production methods. It has been produced since 1998 and is one of the most popular whiskies from Aberlour Distillery.

A’Bunadh has a dark amber color and imparts a rich, sherry-like flavor with notes of dried fruit, almond, and spice, along with hints of vanilla and chocolate. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at a cask strength ABV of 59%-62%.

A’Bunadh is best enjoyed neat or with a drop of water to release the flavors. It can be used to make high-end cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or Rob Roy. Its sweet and spicy flavor also pairs well with cigars of the same character.

Thanks to its unique production process, Aberlour A’Bunadh has been recognized with numerous awards, including a Double Gold Medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and multiple Gold and Silver.
