The Amancaya winery is located in the high-altitude vineyards of the Valle de Uco in Mendoza, Argentina. It is a joint venture between two of the country’s premier winemakers, Catena and Rothschild. Amancaya produces wines using a combination of traditional and modern methods at the highest altitudes in the region.
The soil in the vineyards of Amancaya is the ideal place for growing Malbec, a delicious red grape varietal. The elevation is combined with the dry, sunny climate of the region to create ripe and well-balanced grapes for wines of excellent character and structure.
Multiple blind tastings have acclaimed the quality of Amancaya’s cuvees. Their single-vineyard offerings are even more highly praised, and it is clear why they have quickly become a favorite among wine enthusiasts around the world. Amancaya’s blend of malbec and cabernet sauvignon is their signature blend and is very popular.
