Chic Choc Rum

Chic Choc Rum is a premium grade, craft distilled, premium aged, Caribbean rum. It is produced by Velier in the Italian port city of Genoa. This premium rum is aged for up to ten years in American, French and Hungarian Oak barrels of varying sizes, and variations are available in both white and dark varieties. The rum is blended with natural extracts, spices and botanicals such as cloves, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla. Chic Choc Rum was created to combine traditional Caribbean rum production methods with contemporary taste and production techniques. The resulting spirit is clean and smooth, exhibiting flavors of tropical fruits, vanilla, and oak, along with creamy caramel and gingerbread notes. The rum is best served neat or over ice, or in a cocktail like an Old Fashioned or a Dark & Stormy. Foraged botanicals, wild allspice, black tea, ginger, nutmeg are just some of the additional ingredients incorporated into the recipe to produce an elegant and complex spirit. The rum comes in several forms, including cask strength and an unaged version. It is also popularly blended into drinks like cola for a sweet and delicate kick.
