J&B Rare is a popular blended Scotch whisky produced by the company J&B (Justerini & Brooks). It is made from a blend of 42 single malt and grain whiskies and has a mellow, smooth, and fruity flavor. The brand has been around since the 1930s and is considered one of the biggest selling Scotch whiskies in the world. J&B Rare is frequently used as a mixer and as an important ingredient in some classic cocktail recipes, such as the Rob Roy and the Rusty Nail. It has a mild alcoholic strength of 40% ABV and is available in both 750ml and 1.75l bottle sizes.
