Equiano Rum

Equiano Rum is a premium Caribbean rum developed by The Equiano Caribbean Rum Company, based in London. It features a unique blend of multi-country-origin rums from Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Guyana that ages for up to eight years. This is then blended together and quadruple distilled with a touch of natural vanilla. Equiano Rum is a product of globalisation, with the purpose of bringing together the finest ingredients, recipes and craftsmen from different corners of the Caribbean to create a smooth, rich and full-bodied spirit. The rum is one of the few to receive certification as a ‘Caribbean Rum’ from the UK government, and is the first spirit to be certified Carbon Neutral in the UK. The rum has a smooth, creamy texture that goes down smoothly, with hints of vanilla, oak and toffee on the nose. On the palate, the rum has notes of honey, molasses, caramel, toffee, coconut and sweet spices. The finish is sweet, smoky, and long-lasting.
