Galliano Vanilla is a liqueur produced by Italian distiller Lucas Bols since 1896. Galliano Vanilla is a sweet yellow liqueur that is usually enjoyed on its own, with ice, or as an ingredient in cocktails and other mixed drinks. It is made by infusing a base of neutral alcohol with vanilla, anise, lidano, and other herbs and spices. The liqueur has a sweet, creamy flavor with a hint of citrus. It can be served neat or as an ingredient in drinks such as the Saronno Sour, White Russian, Vanilla Martini, and a range of other cocktails. Because of its flavor and versatility, Galliano Vanilla is often used as a substitute for Triple Sec or other orange liqueurs in a variety of mixed drinks.
