Dailuaine 1997 is a rare single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Dailuaine Distillery and bottled in 2017 as part of Diageo’s Special Releases series. This whisky was aged in American oak hogsheads for 19 years and then finished in refill sherry casks. The whisky has a nose of fresh golden malt, cereal, toasted oak, orange peel, oatcakes and syrup. On the palate, there is a sweeter smokiness along with sherry, creamy vanilla, sweet raisins and orange marmalade.
