Dictador 2 Masters Royal Tokaji is a single malt Bulgarian whiskey made from ultra-aged Tokaji barriques and aged for at least 12 years in French oak casks. The whiskey is then finished in Hungarian Tokaji wines barrels on the banks of the Danube river. The whiskey is produced by the Dictador distillery, which was founded in 1989 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The company takes its name from the Dictator's superior quality and craftsmanship, which is evident not only in the whiskey, but also in the master distiller's use of traditional techniques and ingredients. The whiskey has a rich, intense flavor that captures the essence of the Tokaji grapes, the fruitiness of mature rums, and the smokey notes of French oak aging. On the palate, it is smooth, with a hint of sweetness and a long finish. The flavor is complex and well-balanced, with a slight hint of spice and dark fruit. The whiskey has earned a number of awards, including a gold medal at the San Francisco International Spirits Awards and a silver medal at the Tokyo Whiskey Competition.
