Highland Park Valknut

Highland Park Valknut is an award-winning single malt Scotch whisky produced in the Scottish Highlands. The product has an earthy and smoky aroma with gentle notes of peat, fresh citrus and spices, while the taste is light and rounded with hints of vanilla, caramel, honey and a long smoky finish. It is a well-balanced Scotch that is bottled at a strength of 40% ABV. Highland Park Valknut is part of the single malt range from Highland Park Distillery. The whisky is made from a complex blend of malts that have been aged for a minimum of 14 years in a combination of Spanish oak and American oak tuns, providing it with its signature flavor and complexity. Valknut is named after an ancient Scandinavian symbol – a knot that is believed to have some connection to Odin, the Norse god of war. This symbol is featured on the bottles and gives the whisky a deeper mythology and meaning. Highland Park Valknut has received many awards over the years, most recently at the 2017 World Whiskies Awards where it took home gold. It has also been praised by whisky writers and experts, garnering an impressive score of 91 from renowned whisky critic Jim Murray.
