Mujen is a modern Shochu brand from Japan, looking to redefine the way the traditional spirit is viewed and consumed. Made from rice and 100% natural ingredients, with meticulous techniques, in a time-honored, 500-year old tradition of craftsmanship, Mujen hopes to bring shochu to center-stage with the western world. To create the X expression, Mujen has chosen a full proof approach, at 42% abv, and aged in new Canadian oak for 10 years. The result is a rich, sweet and savoury spirit that is fantastic to sip over ice or in an old-fashioned cocktail.
